Lakeview Heights.
Minutes to
Downtown
Lakeview Heights offers a mix of older neighborhoods and new subdivisions. The neighborhood includes the more established area around Ogden Rd to Stuart Rd and Lakeview Rd. Homes in this neighborhood can have exceptional views of Kelowna downtown looking across the lake.
Along the Lake facing North East, you will also find Campbell Road and the Casa Loma area. The Casa Loma Lakeshore Resort is a real favorite amongst those in the know.
This area is home to many excellent wineries. As you move along Mt Boucherie Road you pass Mt Boucherie Winery, Volcanic Hills, The Hatch, Quail’s Gate, and the iconic Mission Hill Winery amongst others. The stunning Wine Trails go through this area and are very popular with tourists.
The area south-east-facing slopes of Mt Boucherie is comparable to Kettle Valley across the lake, but offers the directly opposite view toward Okanagan Mountain Park. Access to these new homes is mainly from Gregory Road which leads to the Mission Hill area of Lakeview Heights.
A much-photographed area on Okanagan Lake is the Green Bay neighborhood. This Kelowna neighborhood has lagoon access for many homes that provide sheltered boat moorage in their backyards. As you head along Boucherie Rd you also gain access to other lakeshore homes and subdivisions at Pritchard Road.
The area continues to grow and thrive and has many fine schools and amenities including two excellent golf courses and Gellatley Park farther south. One local favorite is the lakeshore walk along Gellatly Bay Park which goes from the West Kelowna Yacht Club up to Rotary Park.
