Glenrosa area is a beautiful community starting from Highway 97 and carrying up Glenrosa Road alongside Powers Creek towards the Crystal Mountain Ski Resort. There are over 2200 homes in this area with 96% being homeowners. This is a family community with good schools and amenities in the area. Most homes in this are single-family detached homes. There are very few rental properties and no condominiums over 4 stories or large townhome developments.

In the recent years, there has been several opportunities for home builders and new home construction. As larger-scale developments have opened up several building lots.

Glenrosa also offers several small acreages and executive style homes on the West Side of Glenrosa Road. These larger properties are farther up the hill and many have beautiful views of the lake. This includes shops and services in the older part of Westbank and the new retail and commercial sections along Hwy 97 as you travel North towards Kelowna. if you cross the Highway on Glenrosa Road you immediately start on Gellatly Road which leads you directly down to Okanagan Lake and the parks and beaches there.
