This neighborhood is a family-oriented area of Kelowna with excellent schools and amenities. Glenmore Road runs down the center of the valley and extends north all the way to Lake Country. Glenmore Road is four-lane from Hwy 97 all the way to Union Road which is one of the main access roads into Glenmore Highlands and the Wilden neighborhood.
Established neighborhoods are found along the west side of Glenmore road with more farmlands and estate style homes on the east side of Valley Road. The University of BC Okanagan can be accessed via John Hindle Drive which also provides access to the Kelowna Landfill and recycling center.

You can find shops, groceries, gas, dentists, and restaurants in the main shopping area on Kane Road and Yates Road: IGA, Save on Foods, Starbucks, Mcdonald’s, Tim Hortons, Shoppers Drug Mart, Subway, Petro Canada, TD Bank, and more. There is a nice trail system along Valley road for many kilometers and new hiking trails are being developed up in the Highland Neighbourhoods. A popular dog park is just a few minutes north on Glenmore Road just past the Landfill before you reach the turnoff to McKinley Landing and McKinley Beach.
You can expect a nice rural lifestyle close to town but also close to orchards, farms, and open spaces. Glenmore North and Glenmore Valley is well serviced with bus routes and has easy access to the Central shopping district, The Airport, and Downtown Kelowna.
