Ella. New Condos in Downtown Kelowna

The Mission Group has obtained approval for the Ella condominium tower on Ellis Street and Lawrence Avenue downtown next to Yamas Greek Restaurant and the new Castanet Media building. The location was previously owned by the city of Kelowna and was one of the many parking lots found in the downtown corridor.

This will be one of the first high rise towers to go into the downtown and marks the commitment by the City of Kelowna to increase density into the downtown core and continue to support the revitalization of this area. By encouraging people to live downtown and improve the mix in the urban landscape the City hopes to create a vibrant city centre. This is an extension of the work that has gone into the creation of the cultural district and the new streetscape on Bernard Ave downtown.

The Ella is in preconstruction stage with sales beginning in the Summer of 2017. Construction completion is slated for 2020. The Kelowna condo development will feature architecture by IBI Group of Vancouver and Interiors from i3 Design Group in Burnaby. The building will have,
